I rest in your promise

Like the calming water on springs
You soothe my pain
when the sadness is too much to bear
You whisper my name
and signal me to Your arms
I've done the 
hardest thing You could ask
of me
to truly Love
and sometimes that means
to let go
it's hard but not impossible
You taught me to love
You made me whole
it would only be selfish and mean
if i prevented or got
in the way of You
teaching the one i love
