Shapes are we

As you meet
You’ll find new things
Squares and circles
Of which might turn into rectangles and ovals
But you must remember that square and circle
You must remember its curves and straight lines
Lines and curves they were once
Don’t forget that
Continue rolling and stepping but don’t forget the shapes
For they were once circles and squares
They adapt, they hurt, and they feel
They also hear
Make sure its not you that changed those shapes
If you did, don’t go back
But continue
Continue going through them till you reach circles and squares again
Don’t stop, but endure.
Persist.

Blue

Ocean blue skies are our ceiling
I lie on your chest
Feeling every vibration that’s sent
From your heart through your skin up to my ears and cheeks
Big bass drums are they
They keep a steady low beat
Surrounding me with a soothing constant sound
These non-stopping sound waves I ride
I ride steady and slow
Never ending
For your heart will nix stop beating for me
As neither will mine

Want to keep you.

There’s something about you that gives me the chills
It scares me, but only
For the damage others have left.
You give me reassurance, but the wounds warn me
Warn me to look,
To look for the same signs that they were created
I feel bad when I do though
For I want to be able to trust… fearless…for the first time if it’s possible
That’s why I want to apologize,
I don’t mean to
I want to be able to give myself without thoughts
Without warnings,
I want these defense mechanisms out
My own defenses are my own offenses, my enemy
I am scared but energy is wasted when one is cautious
We shall see whether we keep each other
Or not
I hope I am able to keep you.

Pearls and Alleys

When life stings at it's hardest
When trees are ripped apart to build "homes"
When my skin is tattooed by pearls and alleys
and there's only one fourth yet to be marked upon
I wish upon rainbows and stars
I wish upon fluffy clouds to be my car
to show me a better world
a world where I don't have to decide to smile
but nature's smile is reflected upon my face
I wish to be Eve and change the path that humanity took
Even though I wish for all this...
I don't have to wish anything with you
for you're always the same
thank you, papa.

Name it what you want to name it.

There's something about love that stings you like no other sword can
It cuts you apart, in half
It's painful yet addicting
Suffocating, yet charming
It's mysterious, like a dark room...there's no escape
When caught by love
You're dead.

Flor Venenosa tu eres

You think it's fair to pour my love for a flower that never shows it's fruit?
You think it's fair to care for the flower in the cold winter, hot summer, colored autumn, and fragrant spring?
You think it's fair to hear every little word uttered by this flower's little cute dulce and venomous mouth?
You think it's fair to plant love
wait for it's fruit
and give it to this flower that holds it's fruits toward moi?
You think it's fair for me to love this flower, when no one else does?
I use to think so,
fervently believed so,
but flower...I need some caring too.
I need some of your petals to light up my dull and somber path.
But you hold them and flourish them for others that don't give a dime.
I need your petals to signal me where this path is going:
death or life.
You think that's fair?
